At 2:58am on Thursday December 9, 2021, the Ocean Pines Vol. Fire Department was alerted for a motor vehicle accident on the North Gate bridge; Worcester Central advised a single vehicle accident with one occupant. Ocean Pines Paramedics arrived on scene first and began evaluating the driver of the vehicle while Chief Grunewald established command. After evaluation, the driver refused further medical treatment.
The scene was turned over to the Ocean Pines Police Department for further investigation.
