On Tuesday August 30th, 2022 The Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department hosted a joint water rescue drill with the Showell Volunteer Fire Department at the Mumford's landing boat ramp. Members of both departments practiced basic water rescue operations from Boat 11 including: locating victims in the water, packaging victims in the water, extricating victims from the water onto Boat 11 and removal from the boat to shore.
