On June 29, 2024, at approximately 2:45pm, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department responded to a medical emergency. After evaluating the patient, EMS providers determined the patient needed to be air-lifted to Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Trooper 4 Medevac used the south Station Helipad to pick up the patient. Ocean Parkway was shut down in the area of the South Station for approximately 30 minutes.
