Ocean Pines, MD — On October 8, 2025, at approximately 9:50am, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 26 Ocean Parkway for a reported vehicle accident. Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle that had struck a USPS mailbox and overturned.

Fire and EMS personnel quickly assessed the scene and evaluated one occupant, who declined additional medical treatment and transport. Firefighters secured the vehicle and mitigated hazards while ensuring the safety of nearby residents and traffic.

The scene was turned over to the Ocean Pines Police Department for further investigation into the cause of the crash.
