On Sunday, March 21, 2010, the Ocean Pines Fire Department utilized the Worcester County Training Center in Newark, Maryland to conduct their yearly SCBA recertifications along with Blood Borne Pathogens and Hazmat Awareness. Other topics included RIT operations and readiness, firefighter removal using ladders and other methods, and firefighter survival, which included ladder bailouts.
