At 4:09pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, the Ocean Pines Fire Department was alerted for fire public service call, tree into a house in North Ocean Pines.  Initial units arrived to find a 2 story single family dwelling with a large tree leaning against the house/roof on side Delta. Chief Grunewald established command while crews investigated the interior and exterior of the home. Command requested the county builder inspector respond to the scene as well as arranged for support from the Red Cross for the residents. Command released units and remained on scene for the County Building Inspector.
