As Hurricane Isaias made its way up the east coast and across Delmarva throughout the morning hours of Tuesday, August 4, 2020, the Ocean Pines Vol. Fire Department as well as departments throughout the entire county kept busy. In total, the department responded to 11 incidents, including a water rescue, three public service calls for trees into houses, one fire alarm activation and several other medical emergencies.
As a reminder, we are really just getting started with hurricane season as it does not end until November so please stay prepared and do not take unnecessary risks during storms!
