At 2:26pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, the Ocean Pines Vol. Fire Department was alerted for a motor vehicle accident, vehicle vs a tree. 1100 Paramedic 1 was first to arrive on scene and confirmed a single vehicle accident with a single patient, no entrapment. Upon arriving on scene, Chief Grunewald established command and requested Engine 1103 to take a blocking position. The patient was removed from the vehicle, evaluated by paramedics and transported to TidalHealth PRMC. The scene was turned over to the Ocean Pines Police Department for further investigation.
