The Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department was invited to assist the Ocean City Fire Department with their annual Remembrance Beams of Light memorial service at the Ocean City Firefighters memorial on September 10th. Volunteers proudly flew a large American Flag from the bucket of Tower 11 over the memorial and stood by in honor of those lost during and in the years since the September 11th terror attacks. Our career and volunteer members will never forget the unfortunate events of that day in 2001 and will continue to honor all who were lost.
