Ocean Pines, MD – February 25, 2025 – At approximately 1:00 PM, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department (OPVFD) responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area of McDonald's on Racetrack Road.
The incident involved two vehicles and resulted in three patients. One patient required extrication using rescue tools and was transported to TidalHealth for further evaluation. OPVFD personnel worked alongside Showell VFD EMS and law enforcement to ensure the safety of all involved.
We appreciate the cooperation of bystanders and responding agencies during this incident. The scene has since been cleared, and the roadway is open to normal traffic.
