On November 13, OPVFD responded to assist the Berlin Fire Company with a three-alarm fire at Bayside Jet Drive. Engine 1102, Tower 11, and Rescue 11 responded with a combination of career and volunteer firefighters working together. Fire departments from Wicomico County and Sussex County, DE also responded to assist. Strong coordinated effort by all agencies on scene.

We are incredibly grateful that all firefighters and employees of the business escaped without injuries. Bayside Jet Drive is a valued local business, and our thoughts are with the owners, County Commissioner Eric Fiori and his wife, as they navigate the aftermath of this incident. The entire community stands behind them and their team.
