At 9:52am on Monday, June 1, 2020, the Ocean Pines Fire Department was alerted for a motor vehicle accident, car vs. motorcycle. Upon arrival of Rescue 11, Chief Grunewald established command. All occupants were evaluated on scene and no further medical assistance was needed at that time. Thankfully the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet or this incident could have been much worse. The scene was turned over to the Maryland State Police.
