August 10, 2020

At 4:58am on Monday, August 10, 2020, the Ocean Pines Vol. Fire Department was alerted for a fuel spill on Ocean Parkway near the Ocean Expressway (Rt 90) overpass. Dispatch provided further details once units were responding to the scene; the fuel spill occured due to a motor vehicle collision w/ rollover, no injuries reported. Chief Grunewald was the first to arrive on scene establishing command and confirming a fuel spill with one car already righted and on a tow truck.
