At 10:53pm on Friday, June 4, 2021, the Ocean Pines Vol. Fire Department was alerted for a motor vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles in the area of St. Martins Lane and Ocean Parkway. Engine 1101 & 1100 Paramedic 3 were first to arrive on scene and confirmed two vehicles with three patients, no entrapment. Lt. Sturgil assumed command and requested crews from Engine 1101 & Rescue 11 secure the power to the vehicles. All three patients were evaluated and refused future treatment at that time. After a brief period of cleanup, the scene was turned over to the Ocean Pines Police Department for further investigation.
