In the last 24 hours, the Ocean Pines Vol. Fire Department has been dispatched to provide medical assistance to neighboring departments in Showell and Bishopville with two separate multi-vehicle accidents. With that in mind and as we approach a busy holiday weekend/summer season, we wanted to remind you about the important safety measures that you as an individual can take to avoid being involved in accidents.
