At approximately 2:07pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, the Ocean Pines Vol. Fire Department was alerted to respond to a motor vehicle collision on Nicholas Lane at the Bank of Ocean City; Worcester Central advised that a vehicle had struck the bank.
Upon arrival, Captain Mike Mather established command of the incident and confirmed a single vehicle into the bank. The driver was evaluated on scene and refused further treatment at that time.
A building inspector from Worcester County was requested and upon their arrival, the scene was turned over to them for further investigation into the structural damage to the building.
