On Tuesday October 31, 2023 the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department was alerted to respond to two separate motor vehicle accidents in the area of 598-600 Ocean Parkway. The first incident occurred at approximately 5:20pm with the second incident occurring around 10:30pm. Both incidents involved a single vehicle, overturned in a drainage ditch.
All occupants were evaluated on scene by paramedics and refused further treatments at that time. Fire department personnel worked with local Towing Companies to right the vehicles and load them on tow trucks.
After the vehicles were removed, both incidents were turned over to the Ocean Pines Police Department for further investigation.
