On Monday November 27th, 2023 at approximately 2:23pm the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department was alerted to respond to the area of 1464 Points Reach for an entrapment. While units were responding, Worcester Central advised that a worker was stuck on a piece of equipment that was in the air. Upon arrival, personnel found a subject trapped and uninjured on a genie lift, approximately 30' in the air, next to a building. Tower 11 was strategically positioned to extend up and over to the precise location of the lift which allowed the subject to safely transfer from the lift to the bucket of the truck. Once in the bucket of Tower 11, personnel guided the ladder away from the lift to safely transition the worker to the ground.

The situation was placed under control and the scene was turned over to the Ocean Pines Police Department for further investigation.
