On Friday, July 12, at approximately 10:36 PM, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 10535 Racetrack Road. Upon arrival, Fire Chief Joey Widgeon advised incoming units of a tow truck that had veered off the roadway into the woods.

On Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024, at approximately 9:42 pm, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 2689 Ocean Expressway. Worcester Central advised incoming units of a four-vehicle accident at the top of the first bridge heading into Ocean City.

On June 29, 2024, at approximately 2:45pm, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department responded to a medical emergency. After evaluating the patient, EMS providers determined the patient needed to be air-lifted to Johns Hopkins Hospital.

On Friday, May 24th, 2024, at approximately 7:49 am, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department was alerted to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 11123 Racetrack Rd. While units were en route, a Worcester County Sheriff arrived on the scene and advised of three vehicles with one patient heavily entrapped.
