On the evening of March 25, 2025, at approximately 9:43 PM, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department (OPVFD) was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 1100 block of Ocean Parkway. Upon arrival, initial crews found visible flames coming from the rear of the single-family home.

Upon arrival, crews located a 15-year-old minor stranded on a small island in the middle of Off Shore Lake.

Ocean Pines, MD – January 22, 2025 – On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at approximately 5:40 PM, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department (OPVFD) was dispatched to assist the Ocean Pines Police Department in a search for a missing child. Worcester Central advised that a 10-year-old autistic boy had been reported missing and was last seen at approximately 4:05 PM.
